Eligibility
This scholarship is open to Missouri residents of Macon, Monroe, or Shelby County with a 2021
household family income for $44,560 or less. Students must meet the following requirements:
- Pursuing a Trade/Technical/Certificate, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s Degree
- Current Missouri resident of Macon, Monroe, or Shelby County
- Have a 2021 household family income of $44,560 or less. Proof of income will be required
before fund distribution. - U.S. citizen by date of award
- First generation & non-traditional students are strongly encouraged to apply!

- The Fall 2022 Application will open June 20th , 2022
- The application period is open from June 20th at 9:00am until July 15th at 5:00pm CST. You must
complete the online application and upload all required documents by July 15th at 5:00pm. All
applicants will be notified of selection by the end of July. - Applicants will be required to submit proof of 2021 income prior to scholarship disbursement.

- Please have one professional reference (i.e. teacher, professor, employee supervisor,
club/organization leader) complete a recommendation form on your behalf - Reference contact information is needed in order to receive the recommendation form.
Links to the form will not be sent until the scholarship application has been submitted. - Recommendation forms must be submitted by Tuesday, July 19 th at 5:00pm CST.
- Reference will have an option to attach a letter of recommendation to their form.

Disbursement Information
Disbursement Information
We will review each student individually and develop a scholarship award on a case-by-case basis. Scholarship amounts will vary with the max allotted amount being $10,000. This scholarship will be paid as a one-time payment in Fall 2022 directly to the school and will cover tuition expenses.
Recipient Expectations
Recipient Expectations
All scholarship recipients must agree to the following:
- Provide proof of a 2021 household family income of $44,560 or less
- Maintain a 2.5 GPA or equivalent satisfactory status in programs without GPA
- Sign media release and enrollment release form
- Provide school or program’s financial aid/bursar/cashier’s office for the scholarship to be
applied directly to tuition or program cost - Respond to scholarship staff communication in a timely manner
- Understand that the scholarship will not cover prior student loan balance or outstanding
balance. The scholarship will not be paid toward prior student loan balances. - If selected as a recipient, proof of enrollment must be sent prior to payment being sent to the
program/institution.
